Let it Rot

We built a new compost pile and three new raised garden beds. My patented corner technique worked OK, but after seeing Ryan's beds I wished I had used Cedar rather then stained Fur. ..so lesson learned there. Having a hard time figuring our where to put the deck and how to design it because where it seems like it should go, is right in the sunniest spot where it gets baked all summer. We also got our new Legacy Sugar Maple tree today. The Department of Urban Forestry came and planted it in our front yard. Pretty cool program it you ask me. We think the Maple tree is very relieved to have made it into the yard of a Canadian.
